We were briefed to create an ad about the new Nando’s sharing meal. The concept revolved around the idea of oversharing. So, we decided to take a completely different approach and bring the idea of oversharing to life in a totally new way.  Dad has a secret, he thinks he’s the only one who knows, but one family member has a plan to share all! The moral of the story? When you feel like oversharing, rather do it with the Nando’s Sharing meal.

 

The TVC taps into the modern fascination with technology, introducing a talking mat for dogs that humorously translates their thoughts into a language we can all understand. This innovative twist not only captured attention but resonated with our audience, creating a memorable and shareable piece of content.

 

True to the Nando's brand tone, the advert leverages humour as a powerful tool to convey our message. We believe in creating advertising that not only informs but entertains, leaving a lasting impression on our audience. The banter from our canine friend and the tension it created made for a TV ad that embodies the essence of our brand – a perfect blend of cheeky wit and the unexpected, with a bit of unique South African flavour.
